The Museum has successfully accomplished various projects related to Rainwater Harvesting System, Care and Conservation of Museum building, Security Systems, Infrastructure facilities, Building illumination and Landscaping, Reorganization of galleries, Signage, computer kiosks etc under Museum Modernization Plan with the special grant-in-aid received from the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.

New Projects undertaken :

I - Museum on Wheels

CSMVS aims at having a mobile museum which can reach the far corners of villages and schools. The Museum on Wheels will be equipped with essential devices for educational kids, audio visual presentations, art demonstrations etc.

II - Discovery Tent for Children

CSMVS aims at developing a system or platform for experiencing Indian arts and crafts for children of age group between 4 yrs and 15 years. The air-conditioned discovery tent is meant for children to express freely their curiosity by touching, breaking, putting back together objects that can be seen in the Museum like games, toys, puzzles and tools or by understanding how to create similar artifacts for themselves.
